25 Dec 1905 - Patrolman CHARLES SPITZNAGLE, of the Northeastern District, was paralyzed yesterday afternoon while patrolling his post and died last night at St. Joseph's Hospital without regaining consciousness. He was walking along Central avenue, near Fairmount Avenue, when taken ill and was hurriedly taken to the hospital In the Northeastern district patrol wagon.
